This original painting in stretched canvas was inspired by the memory of a hike in the English countryside, during a visit to his birthplace. It captures a moment in time when sunlight bathed both field and tree in warm summer light. But in England rain is never far away, and dark storm clouds approaching from the west framed the tree, capturing in one moment the ever-changing English summer weather. Currently on loan to the City of Las Vegas for their ‘Green’ exhibit, this will be available in mid July.
