The sunsets on the west coast are magical. I love to sit and watch the sun drop below the watery horizon. On this occasion two ladies were strolling in the twilight. The light, shadows and their clothes combined to create the illusion of going back in time. This painting attempts to reflect a quieter, more peaceful era.
